Free School Meals
Thanks to Universal Infant Free School Meals, every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can enjoy a school meal at no cost. Children in Year 3 and above may also qualify based on individual circumstances.
From September 2026, all pupils in state-funded schools in England whose households receive Universal Credit will be eligible for free school meals.
